Which Title 24 edition do you price to?
The edition cited on the drawings. The 2025 Title 24 took effect January 1, 2026; projects permitted under the 2022 edition are priced to that edition. If the set is unclear we ask before we start.
Can you estimate DSA school projects?
Yes. We quantify the approved drawings, carry the prevailing wage basis for public work, and list agency oversight, inspection and testing items in general conditions as assumptions for you to confirm.
Do my subcontractors need DIR registration to be on a public works bid?
Yes. Under Labor Code §1725.5, a contractor or subcontractor must be registered to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal for, or perform public work. We note it in the bid checklist; registration itself is the contractor’s responsibility.
How do I confirm the fee and delivery schedule?
Share the current drawings, specifications, requested trades, deliverable, and bid date. The proposal should confirm the fee and schedule for that scope before work begins.

Use the national quantity takeoff scope to define the measured output. F&K US sample pages support inspection of selected quantities, units and drawing references; they do not verify every trade, a local office or a completed project in this region.
Provide the project address, current issued drawings and addenda, the required units and trade interfaces. Agree how omissions, allowances, drawing discrepancies and revised quantities will be recorded. Use the sample evidence library to inspect the available format before requesting an output.
Pricing, labor productivity, permit interpretation and procurement quantities require their own agreed basis. Confirm these items and revision terms in the scope request.
